Event Description
Autumn Preserves Acoustic Music Gathering is a brand new event that builds on the legacy of the Minnesota Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Association’s “Fall Jam.”
It’s a two-day celebration of the local acoustic music community where you can jam with friends you know and some you’ve just met, sign up to perform on two stages, participate in a Band Scramble and Bluegrass Karaoke, and move your feet at Saturday’s square dance.
It’s a family-friendly event with plenty to do, whether you’re a player or a listener. Bring an instrument, your voice, your feet, or just your ears! Everyone is welcome to join in!

Limited Room Blocks available at the Hampton Inn University Avenue, and the Home2 Suites in the Prospect Park neighborhood of Minneapolis (see map).
Guests can also access the rate by calling our front desk directly at 612-259-8797 and requesting to be placed under the Autumn Preserves Room Block.
TAXES & FEES: All rates are subject to state and local taxes and fees. Currently, the hotel occupancy tax rate is 15.025%, and a mandatory fee of 2% for Minneapolis Tourism Improvement District (MTID). Rates are subject to change without notice. On-site parking is $25 + tax nightly.
Credit Card: A valid credit card is required to confirm a reservation. Upon check-in, guest’s credit card will be authorized for room, tax, fees, and $50 per night for incidentals. Actual charges will post upon check-out, and any remaining authorized funds will be released. It will take 3-10 days to show on the guest’s account depending on their financial institution.
Guestrooms must be booked by 11:59pm on 10-07-2026.
